Who says seniors are not hipsters at heart? Northern California Presbyterian Homes and Services (NCPHS) hired Town Kryer in 2015 to begin laying the foundation for its communications efforts for an exciting new and dynamic senior community in Walnut Creek, California. The first of its kind CCRC is slated to become the benchmark for senior living in Contra Costa County and Town Kryer has been there every step of the way. Working with local seniors to help design and imagine this new community was step one. Taking that vision and conveying it to local and regional media, trade and national press was step two.
We also identified key executives within the organization and coached them on how to effectively communicate in a way that demonstrates their depth of knowledge of senior housing, their caring for our aging population and the organization’s approach, which is second to none in the category. Along the way, we got to name the project as well – Viamonte, which is derived from the location of the new community as well as the view of the famous Mt Diablo.
